This event is now off-sale from Lichfield Garrick Box Office. Tickets can be purchased on the evening at Lichfield Cathedral, subject to availability. Any pre-paid tickets still to be collected can be done so on the door at Lichfield Cathedral. 

For the Advent concert, this year, The Chorus will be performing "a musical rite of the holiday season", Handel's Messiah, under the musical directorship of Ben Lamb. This piece was original composed for Easter. The premiere took place in Dublin during April 1742.

The Chorus last undertook this work back in 2006, as ‘Lichfield Cathedral Special Choir' in a Candlelight performance.

This concert is already proving popular, so please book early to avoid disappointment.
