This funny, lively and touching musical about a New York orphan who goes to stay with a millionaire amid the Great Depression, has delighted audiences for almost 50 years.

Little Annie yearns to find her parents who left her as a baby at cruel Miss Hannigan’s orphanage.

When Annie is chosen to stay at high-profile businessman Oliver ‘Daddy’ Warbucks’ mansion, while she leaves her friends behind, she escapes Miss Hannigan’s clutches and the misery of the orphanage.

For the first time she is warm, cared for and living in the lap of luxury, but this sparky and honest little girl’s presence soon proves to be much more than a good deed done by Daddy Warbucks.

She brings a new perspective to the gruff millionaire’s life and reminds him there is more to life than money and power.

So much so that he determines to reunite her with her parents, but will she find them or find herself in danger at the hands of con artists and criminals – some of whom seem strangely familiar?

This Tony Award-winning show is proudly presented by Sutton Coldfield Musical Theatre Company, who return to Lichfield Garrick Theatre following the success of Kinky Boots (May 2024) and their award-winning production of Shrek the Musical (September 2023).
