As another season of #GarrickPanto comes to a close, it's time to update you on the huge difference you have made! Firstly, we would like to thank you all from the bottom of our hearts here at the Garrick, for donating to the appeal over the festive season. Every donation really does help, and the proof is in the pudding.
Together, we have raised a grand total of £15,618.95 with our relaunched Big Ticket Appeal. We had a total of 23 local business sponsors, alongside individual donations from people like you, which allowed us to give out over 500 tickets to our pantomime. This is our highest EVER number of tickets given out through the appeal and it's all thanks to the kindness of people like you!
These tickets make a difference to the lives of young people who have experienced trauma, bereavement, illness or who face financial barriers. Your donation has allowed someone to escape to a different world, even for just a few hours, and for many of the beneficiaries, this was their first ever trip to the theatre. Thank you for supporting our mission and making sure no one gets left behind.

What happens now that the ticket appeal is wrapped up for Christmas?
As many of you know, we rebranded our Christmas ticket appeal as the Big Ticket Appeal in October 2024. Part of this was so that we could bring the community together to help people in various hardships throughout the year. This means outside of the festive season, your donations could go towards tickets to our in-house productions, or even provide a funded place in a Lichfield Garrick activity such as our youth theatre Young Garrick Lichfield.
