Cultural experiences have a huge impact on people’s mental wellbeing, and we are asking local businesses for their support in making a difference to the lives of those in our community this Christmas.
If you are a business that would like to bring a smile to the faces of families in our region that have experienced a tough year through trauma, bereavement, illness or everyday barriers that prevent the ability to participate in cultural experiences, then please get in touch. Together, we can make a difference to the lives in our community.
Since 2017, over 150 families have attended Lichfield Garrick’s pantomime thanks to the generosity of local businesses. Without this support, these families would not have enjoyed the much-needed escapism and magic of pantomime at Christmas.
Business Sponsor, Jennifer Mosley-Bradley from Palletways said: With the cost of the living crisis we find ourselves in we know that families, now more than ever, will be feeling the pinch and struggle to do some of the nice things they normally could. Palletways is delighted to support the Lichfield Garrick Theatre for the third year in a row to enable families in the local community to attend the pantomime this Christmas. We hope this evening will bring them joy and an escape from the stresses of day-to-day life.
Matt Clay, Interim Executive Manager said: Over the years we have grown our network of charities to reach even more families who have faced many challenges. Ensuring that everyone, no matter what their background, has access to the escapism of theatre is very important to us, and we couldn’t do this without the support of local businesses.
