What’s your connection to / interest in the Garrick?

I have lived in Lichfield District for all of my life and love visiting the Garrick. I first produced a Noel Coward play in the Garrick's studio theatre in 2012 and since then I have seen more shows than I can remember. I'm also a Lichfield District Councillor so I have a keen interest in the success of the Garrick and businesses in Lichfield City Centre who benefit from the secondary spend from the Garrick's patrons (pubs, restaurants, hotels, etc).

What’s your professional experience?

I'm the co-founder of The Experiences Group, an events company providing experiences and shows to family attractions, theatres and event spaces. I produced my first theatre show aged 17 and have had the bug for theatre production ever since, and for the last 16 years I have produced and starred in Tamworth's annual pantomime - oh yes I have!

What are you most excited about for the Garrick?

The refurbishment has breathed fresh life into the Garrick, and I'm really excited for the future as the development plan continues and we can continue to put on fantastic shows and invite a new audience into the Garrick.
