The Garrick, then the Civic Hall, is where my personal theatre story began as a three-year-old squirrel in a community dance production! Having recently returned to the area, I’m now a regular face in the audience and love the fact that I live in a city that has such a brilliant theatrical venue.

I’m a Chartered Accountant, originally having qualified with PwC. Prior to this, at university I was lucky enough to be involved in many student productions, including producing the Cam-bridge Footlights International Tour Show – an adventure that saw us perform at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and tour the UK and both coasts of the US. It was likely this experience that solidified my interest in finance, and ultimately propelled me into a career across multiple industries. I’m really thrilled that as a trustee I can draw on both my professional experience and my personal passion to support this wonderful theatre.

I'm looking forward to seeing the Garrick's programming keep pace with our evolving community, bringing a rich mix of shows that both entertain and provoke thought.
