Seeing a Show

The time on your ticket is the show start time. We encourage you to arrive at the theatre in good time so you can relax, get yourself some refreshments, and take your seat without rushing.

Watching the Show

Please remain in your seat for the duration of your performance. We are a seated venue, and tickets are sold as such. Please be mindful of the people around you who may not be able to stand if you choose to enjoy part of the performance on your feet. Dancing in your seat is encouraged!

If you need to leave the auditorium for any reason, we will readmit you to your seat at a safe and appropriate point in the show.

Anti-social behaviour towards our staff or the cast members on stage will not be tolerated – we ask that we all play our own part in ensuring that the performance runs safely and everyone has a fantastic experience!

You can find more information to help you prepare for your visit below.

Your Tickets

We offer two types of tickets:

  1. E-tickets; these are emailed to you after booking, in a separate email to your booking confirmation email.
  2. Physical tickets; these can be issued to you as you book your tickets via the Box Office, posted out to you (with a £1.50 delivery charge per booking), or collected any time from the Box Office during our opening hours.

If you cannot locate your E-ticket, please login to your account and click on E-TICKETS. You can select the relevant show and download them onto your phone. You can also contact the Box Office if you are really stuck!

Payment

We accept cash and Mastercard, Visa & Maestro card types. We do not currently accept American Express. We also accept SOLT Theatre Tokens and Lichfield Garrick gift vouchers. Please note that Theatre Tokens are not redeemable online – to redeem these, please call our Box Office or visit us in person during our opening hours.

Cloakroom, Bags & Storage

We do not have a cloakroom.

We recommend that you bring minimal belongings with you as we are not able to store bags, including suitcases or shopping bags.

Please be aware that bag checks may be in place prior to some performances.

We are able to store pushchairs on the ground floor, down the steps near the toilets.

Dress Code

Please feel free to wear whatever you feel comfortable in!

Cancelled Events

Please be assured that if any event is cancelled for any reason, we will be in touch with you to outline your options. If the show has been postponed for whatever reason, we will endeavour to swap your tickets like-for-like, so you will keep the same seat that you originally booked.

We will email all patrons first & foremost, so please check your spam & junk folders. If we don’t have an email address for you on our system, we will call you and may leave a message if we are unable to reach you directly.

Illness or Feeling Unwell

If you or a member of your party are unwell and are unable to attend a performance, please contact the Box Office as in advance as possible by calling 01543 412121. We will endeavour to resell your tickets via our booking system. Please check our resale policy here.

We will offer whatever solutions we can – this may include an exchange to another performance of the same production. We may also recommend that you resell your tickets privately if the show has not sold out.

We recommend purchasing Secure My Booking with your ticket purchase – more information can be found here.
