Join our Young Garrick Burntwood group for their first performance, a world premiere of Painting by Murders. Following the exciting launch of our free youth theatre for young people aged 11-18 in Burntwood in partnership with Burntwood Town Council, we are thrilled to invite you to the group's first ever performance. The youth theatre comes together every week, bringing together young people in Burntwood under the expert guidance of our Community Engagement Team, made up of industry professionals.

The play Painting by Murders is written by our very own Head of Community Engagement, Jonny McClean and is a comedy never-before-seen. For fans of Bugsy Malone, the works of Anthony Horowitz and shows produced by Mischief Theatre, this play will delight! Join Private Detective Russ Seal as he tries to solve the murder of a prolific art thief, encountering dangerous gangsters, angry landladies, and an ever increasingly useless police force.

The first performance will take place on Friday 25th October 2024, with two following performances on Saturday 26th October 2024 with all performances taking place at Burntwood Memorial Institute. This is a fantastic opportunity for family and friends of our talented members to come and see what they've been working on!
