About Rules For Living
Carrie’s worried that her new boyfriend’s family doesn’t like her. Matthew is worried too, but he’s just as worried about how obvious it is that he fancies his sister-in-law, Sheena. Sheena needs a drink to help her cope with her angst-ridden teenage daughter. The rest of the family have their own problems, but fortunately, they each have their own, very specific coping mechanism (for example Matthew always has to sit down when he tells a lie). We get to witness every one of them during a hilarious family get-together, as if watching some sort of outrageous party game in this intelligent, sharp, and very funny comedy by Sam Holcroft.
