Lichfield Garrick Theatre Trustee

The Board of Trustees of the Lichfield Garrick Theatre, wishes to recruit a new trustee with skills in the administration of charities, governance and company secretarial duties.  The ideal candidate would be based in or near Lichfield, West Midlands, have an interest in theatre or the arts in general and be willing to attend approximately 8 meetings per year in the evening, together with more social occasions when trustees act as ambassadors for the charity.

Lichfield Garrick Theatre is a registered charity with two wholly owned subsidary companies. It is a modern theatre situated in the beautiful city of Lichfield and provides the highest quality of entertainment and community work to the city and its surrounding area.

Development Manager

Commercial and Catering Manager

Lichfield Garrick Theatre runs a café and bar during the day and in the evening a bar which currently services patrons of the theatre.  A dynamic and commercially minded person is required to drive the food and beverage offer, ensuring that the café and bars are warm, welcoming and financially supporting the theatre.  However, this is not just a café and bar – there are opportunities for the right person to make their mark on other retail opportunities within the theatre, to shape the service delivered by the Front of House staff and to get involved with commercial events.  If you believe you know just what Lichfield consumers want to see in their local theatre, join the team now!

Community and Education Manager

A multi-talented, creative individual is required to shape and build our education and outreach activities, to direct our youth theatre and community musical productions and to programme performances for family audiences.  You will be ambitious, financially savvy and willing to build new activities from day one!  Fundraising for projects will be second nature as will undertaking the administration of all activities. Naturally, working with young people and vulnerable adults requires a high standard of safeguarding and you will be subject to an enhanced DBS check as well as taking responsibility for this important part of our community engagement.

Casual Front of House and Bar Assistant

An opportunity has arisen to join the Lichfield Garrick family as part of our friendly and welcoming Front of House team.

Applicants must be flexible and be prepared to work unsociable hours, on an ‘as required’ basis, to cover evenings, weekends and bank holidays.

Previous bar experience is essential. Experience in similar environments is desirable. Please see job description for full details.
