Presented by the Lichfield Players
After a life of hard graft, retirement is a far cry from what Albert Nobbs expected. He is bored and nagged senseless by his wife, Connie. However, when Connie dies in a road accident, he struggles to find a reason to carry on – until she returns as a ghost and sets about organising a fulfilling retirement for Albert, including finding him a new romantic interest. Dubbed A Blithe Spirit for the Working Class, the play is simultaneous devastatingly painful and delightfully funny.
