Work Experience

Are you interested in a career in the theatre industry? Come join us at the Lichfield Garrick Theatre and explore the exciting range of opportunities in learning about the creative industry and the operations of a regional theatre.  

Options currently available are: 

Option 1 –  Ages 14+ Shadowing                ​☐​ 

Option 2 –  Ages 18+ Shadowing                ​☐​ 

Joining us at the Lichfield Garrick Theatre, shadowing a creative such as a Director, Musical Director or Choreographer in a rehearsal environment during our in-house productions within the Education and Community Department. There may also be stage management or technical opportunities within this. 

  • Standard of up to 3 sessions with us. 
  • Required working hours dependent upon requested opportunity. 
  • We cannot offer a 5 day school/college work experience week, however we may be able to offer other opportunities during out of school hours.  

Joining us at the Lichfield Garrick Theatre, shadowing a professional within your chosen field. This could range from Technical skilled jobs, to directing to Front of House. For this option we would need full details of what you are looking for during your time with us, and is dealt with on a case by case basis.
