Burntwood Afternoon Cinema - The Duke 12

Duration: 110 mins (inc. 15 min interval)

Step back in time with "The Duke," a delightfully British comedy caper that brings a true story to life with charm and wit. Directed by the late Roger Michell, this film stars the incomparable Jim Broadbent as Kempton Bunton, an everyday hero who caused a stir in the 1960s. Join us for a heartwarming tale of one man's crusade against social injustice, set against the backdrop of a most unusual art heist. With Helen Mirren as Bunton's long-suffering wife, this good-natured romp harkens back to the golden age of Ealing comedies. Don't miss this chance to see a "stranger-than-fiction" story unfold on the big screen, complete with all the eccentricity and humour that make British cinema so beloved.
