Membership Terms & Conditions
Membership Terms and Conditions are in addition to our Standard Terms & Conditions of booking, which can be found here. You can also read our Privacy Policy, on how we will use your data here.
MEMBERSHIP FAQs:
Our memberships are for two people, except for the Friends Circle For One which is for one person.
You do not have to tell us the name of the second person and you can bring a different guest to different events if you wish. However, you are welcome to put your membership in two names if you would like to always use the membership together.
You will receive one membership card per membership to use to claim your discount at the Green Room & Bar. This will display your name and expiry date.
Priority Patrons (formerly Patrons Circle) do not require a membership card as all benefits are automated.
We will contact you each season with a round-up of your exclusive events. We will also add these to our website here: lichfieldgarrick.com/friends-events.
We can offer monthly payments for Gold & Diamond Supporter memberships. At the moment this will involve you setting up a Standing Order or a recurring authorised card payment, as we can’t yet accommodate Direct Debit payments. Get in touch to arrange this.
The price is split between the cost of your quantified benefits (such as discounts, free items and fee savings) from which the Theatre is charged VAT, and a donation to support our various projects on which we can claim Gift Aid if applicable. You will be asked to fill out a short Gift Aid declaration when your purchase your membership, so we can claim an extra 25% on top of your donation from the government if you are a UK Tax Payer.
More information on how this is applied can be found here.
All quantified benefits are available for purchase without a donation. Please get in touch on 01543 412123 or email if you wish to do so.
Absolutely, you can add a donation at the checkout when you purchase your membership.
The donation goes towards helping the young people who attend our Young Rep company; audiences who attend our Dementia Friendly film screenings, BSL and Relaxed performances; participants of all abilities who produce and perform in our Community Musical; offering workshops and work placements for young people; and producing top quality shows made in Lichfield.
As a registered charity (1147697), we also fundraise to keep ourselves sustainable and make sure our building is welcoming and accessible for our audiences and participants.

On 8th June 2021, we made some changes to the benefits and prices of our memberships.
We have some improvements and adjustments to the benefits to reflect how we will be operating as we re-open after our prolonged closure during COVID-19 restrictions.
We’ve increased membership prices for the first time since April 2017, to take into account inflation, our own rising costs, and increased ticket prices.
You can now join two higher level memberships if you are able to give a significant annual donation, and receive some very special recognition in return.
No – your current membership will run on the same terms as when you purchased/renewed it, right up until your expiry date, so continue to use your membership as normal.
When it’s time to renew your membership, we will be in touch in the usual way and let you know what you need to do.
Yes – there are some improved benefits available, such as discounts at the bar at all times and on pre-ordered refreshments, which you might like to take advantage of, so please do get in touch with box office to renew sooner.
